What’s Included in the Monthly SEO Tweaks
While one time SEO tune-ups provide a strong foundation for your website that might have been overlooked by the competition, ongoing SEO looks for opportunities over time in growing your websites content and rankings. As your content expands and changes, it’s important to link that content together, tweak that content based upon knowledge gained over time, and using data collected (such as search queries and conversion data) to adjust a site’s content in a manner that serves to push it up higher in search results.
Overtime, these changes can cause page names to change, URLs to change, and meta information to change. Occasionally, it’s valuable to manually ping search engines that your website content has changed so they expedite crawling your site if they haven’t been doing so routinely – which might be the case for a site that’s rarely updated. These changes can also result in crawl errors that need attention, including broken links for content that might have been deleted, moved, or renamed. Monthly audits of broken links can help fix those errors and keep your website easy to navigate and lessen the frustration of users who visit a link on your website to another website that results in a 404 error.
Content creation can also be a part of your SEO plan depending upon the intensity you choose for your website. While I may not be an expert in your industry, I will seek out writers that are or use your own content and adjust it to create blog content or new sections within pages. This content can create new opportunities for backlinks from other websites or even be used as lucrative guest posts on other websites, which is why a monthly outreach to other webmaster seeking backlinks can be valuable as well.

I’ll take care of your website each and every month.
No more reaching out only after your website breaks, as I’ll keep a scheduled eye on it!
Far too many WordPress websites are left outdated and small businesses don’t know otherwise that, just like a car, their website needs routine maintenance.
Part of that maintenance can be attributed to adjustments with SEO, which is why many SEO companies offer monthly retainer programs to monitor and recommend changes. I believe most SEO benefits occur from initial SEO improvements that have lasting value.
My opinion is that SEO really encompasses both page content and technical optimizations – a unhealthy site with security vulnerabilities could be flagged with a low reputation by search engines.
I also believe that proactively making changes monthly for the sake of making a change…any change…can be detrimental. That’s why my monthly plan includes both maintenance, backups, and SEO audits and always ensures you’re getting a valuable service for your dollar.
