What happens if the repair doesn’t work?
Before starting any repairs, I’ll begin by backing up your entire website and database.
When fixing your site, I’ll create entirely new database passwords & ensure no rogue users have attached themselves to the WordPress database. I’ll also create new WordPress Salts in the wp-config.php file and recreate the .htaccess file.
Once that’s complete, I’ll reinstall a fresh version of WordPress onto the server and import all your files and databases that make your WordPress site uniquely yours!
Then, I’ll scan your site for malware and review any files where rogue scripts might be hiding before updating any WordPress plugins or themes.
This typically creates a safe and secure installation of WordPress that eliminates any vulnerabilities, but it’s possible your website has been hacked to a point that repair just isn’t possible. If the hacker had deleted files from the server, if there are no backups available, or if the hacker maintains root access to the server itself this poses a problem for maintaining the integrity of the fix. I’m still happy to honor my guarantee, but in cases I may just not be able to salvage the site or keep it secure depending upon the depth and style of hack.

Often, hacks are the result of plugins, themes, or core files that haven’t been updated to their latest versions or use of usernames and passwords that have been breached or sold on the dark web.
If you reuse a username and password combinations your refund is void. Additionally, some plugins or themes may require license keys for continual updates and support. If during restoration I see some plugins requiring additional updates that require license keys, those must also be updated to be eligible for a refund.
